Materials:
9 Pennies
1 piece of construction paper
1 piece of heavy card stock
washable tempera paint
1 copy of the poem (if link doesn’t work, Google “walk a little slower daddy”)

1) Glue the heavy card stock to the back of the construction paper. This is what makes the card stand up to the weight of the pennies.

2) Glue a copy of the poem to the card stock. Copy the poem onto colored paper and trim with decorative scissors (optional).

3) When the glue is dry, fold the card and write on the front “DAD, YOU ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY”.

4) Glue pennies on as shown.

5) Present to Dad on Father’s Day!
